2. How do I mute the Scope broadcasts in stations? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
http://i.imgur.com/5rigctl.png And it still won't shut up! It's not that bad with only one character, but I've got five. When they're all sitting in station, I'll have between 1 and 4 "broadcasts" going on at any given time. The only way I've...

3. Microwarpdrive/Afterburner combo - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
While kind of a neat idea, I can't imagine this actually being useful. It runs into the problem where it will never match it's more dedicated cousins in either mode, and will end up being inferior in almost all cases.

4. Defender Missiles - Q&A - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
If you think about how CIWS works in real life, even after you put a number of fist-sized shells through it, you still have an anti-ship missile exploding a few hundred yards away from a ship, sending flaming bits of shrapnel and other not-niceties.

5. Defender Missiles - Q&A - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
The important thing to remember is that CIWS is not the last line of defense, it is the first line of damage control. So it's just an active tank, rather than damage avoidance.

6. Defender Missiles - Q&A - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I do think it strange that only missile boats have anything vaguely like an active anti-missile defense. A turret-based CIWS would be nice, especially combined with an improvement over existing defender missiles. Hell, a cruiser with a dedicated ...

7. Defender Missiles - Q&A - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Can anyone explain to me what Defender missiles actually do? I know they're supposedly horribly broken, but I haven't heard anything about what they're actually capable of.

8. Sticky:[Rubicon] New certifcates review - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
It would seem useful if the Mastery tab would automatically open to one level above the skills you currently have, rather than to the highest level you do. I use the masteries to help plan where to go in the future, so reminding me what I already ...

9. Orca: Maint Bay Change + Ore Hold Buff - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I have three toons dedicated to mining. Two exhumers and an orca. I keep a pair of basilisks in the Orca, and hot-swap the barges for logi whenever I feel threatened, hoping the few extra seconds will delay a gank long enough for concord to arrive...

10. "kitchensink" logi ship - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I dunno, I really think that a well rounded omni-logi would fit very well with the theme established in the SOE hulls of being a self-sufficient multi-role craft. A cruiser could easily be argued as overkill, but a frigate would not be remiss.

11. Totally broken game mechanic who need changed - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Umm... No. There is a long history of price-fixing in EVE. I'm told it's not actually that hard to do if you've got enough capital. It's the loot fairy and the tears that fuels this, not the cost of tags.

12. "kitchensink" logi ship - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
The way I imagine something like this working, it would never be the best option, but would be viable for kitchensink fleets or other intances where you don't know what you're supporting. So it would be flexible at the cost of losing the edge of...

13. "kitchensink" logi ship - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
It really wouldn't be all that much harder. If the bonuses were something simple, like just a range/cap cost bonus then they just need to be able to identify what type of tank each ship has at a glance. Turns into logi flashcards. Megathron -> ...

14. "kitchensink" logi ship - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
And yet, the existence of a dual logi ship does not subtract from the experience you describe. It adds play options without negatively effecting any that already exist. That alone makes it a good idea.

15. "kitchensink" logi ship - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I support this idea because it increases options without reducing the effectiveness of any existing options. I'd propose it be SOE rather than ORE, as it fits neatly in the current theme of long-range, general purpose ships the Astero and Stratios...

I mean, hell, if you look at my killboards you'll see that I'm a terrible combat pilot. I go out in a cheap frigate expecting to never see it again. It's fun, because I know my limits and am pleasantly surprised when I occasionally make it out a...

17. Totally broken game mechanic who need changed - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
The underlying premace of EVE is that the place is not nice . "High sec" is hardly secure, it's everything CONCORD can do to keep it from devolving into open warfare. I mean, what government sanctions companies waging legal war against the othe...

Seriously, why are we still discussing this? Someone is butt hurt because they had their USS Compensator spectacularly taken away. Solution: Stop flying expensive ships when the profits don't match the risks.

19. Totally broken game mechanic who need changed - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
This is a non-issue. There's a massive diminishing return that comes into play as the value of your ship goes up. The more ISK you put in, the less improvement you get for dumping even more in. When you get a ship into the billions, the return is ...
